WYNNE SEDAN & LIMOUSINE GROUP – OUR BRIEF HISTORY
Wynne Sedan & Limousine Group (Wynne) was founded by members
of the legendary Wynne family of Texas, a family steeped in Texas
traditions and entrepreneurial spirit. Family members started one
of the largest independent/international Oil and Gas exploration
firms in the US and one of the ten (10) largest Law firms in the
state of Texas.
For over one-half century, the Wynne family members have extended
their name, entrepreneurial spirit and keen business acumen into
the entertainment and personal hospitality industry where it has
become synonymous with quality and excellence. They built the 'Texas
Pavilion' at the New York World's Fair, the Le Meridian Hotel in
Dallas as well as the Bangkok and Malta Hilton Hotels, designed
Dallas’ Wyndham Anatole Hotel, started the 'Six
Flags Over Texas' theme parks and were original founders and
partners with Clint
Murchison in the NFL
Dallas Cowboys football franchise. They have also been founding
members of several Dallas area country clubs, including the Brook
Hollow Golf Club and the Las Colinas Country Club. Lastly, the
old family ranch in Kaufman, Texas was recently converted to the
world renowned Star Brand business management retreat and meeting
center.
It is from these roots that Wynne was born in the winter of 1986
as a specialty vehicle lease management company serving the ground
transportation industry. During this part of Wynne’s history
it derived the majority of its revenues from limousine leasing
contracts with locally DFW based airport sedan and limousine companies. In
1996, WSLG started its own Airport Sedan and Limousine Ground Transportation
service company (Wynne Transportation Company). Today, Wynne has
grown into the largest independently and certified Women Owned
ground transportation services company in the Dallas - Fort Worth
Metroplex. Wynne has fueled its rapid growth both organically and
through the acquisition of boutique ground transportation service
providers: ADL International, Adams Goldstar, Anytime Sedan, 1st
Choice Transportation, and Ultra Limousine, and participation in
some of the largest ground transportation affiliate networks in
the world. During Wynne’s fifteen years of operation, it
has enjoyed annually increasing revenues and profits.
Wynne lives by its operating mission statement – When Safety
and Excellence Counts by providing quality customer service to
every one of its clients 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. Our International
Ground Transportation booking network allows Wynne to offer our
clients the largest fleet of company-owned vehicles in the United
States and Europe.
In order to assure that Wynne and its affiliated companies always
live up its motto of "When Safety and Excellence Counts",
Wynne has become an active member of the National
Limousine Association (NLA), the DFW Limousine Association,
it is also an active member of the Dallas and Fort
Worth Convention and Visitors Bureaus, Meeting
Professional International (MPI) and the National
Business Travel Association (NBTA).
Wynne’s reservations department provides service to our
clients 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. Our clients never reach
an answering machine with an old recorded message when they call.
Instead, a knowledgeable, helpful Wynne employee assists them.
Our commitment to systems, training and the development of operational
procedures has enabled Wynne to grow quickly without compromising
the quality of service.
